  1. I had to take Sebastian to the vet this morning because I noticed his paw was intensely sore last night whenever I touched it. Turned out he had a fractured nail and had to have what was left of it removed. He’s on antibiotics and pain meds for a week to give him time for his nail to grow back. Poor baby. Of course now that I’ve given him his pain meds, he’s feeling GREAT and running around with Ariel.

  6. Word of advice: Four cats are so much harder to take care of then two cats. I’m watching my soon-to-be roommate’s two cats while she goes home in addition to my two and its kind of a madhouse considering at the moment, the two groups HATE each other. The one good plus is that the past 2 nights I have made my two sleep in my bedroom with me so they aren’t kicked out (one of the other cats tends to take over the apartment if you let him) so I’ve gotten to snuggle with them at night.

  8. Lunch today will be at San Miguel’s mexican restaurant in Tallahassee. I am sho’ nuff looking forward to some nachos. Yum-tastic! Then unfortunately I am making myself go to work and stay there the whole time. My boss is on vacation this week and that makes me wanting to go to work even less than it normally is.

    This summer sucks and I can’t wait for school to start (I know, I’ve lost my mind) This fall, the only day I have to wake up before 11 is on Tuesdays because I have class from 9-12. The rest of the week, I don’t have anything until 12. I’ll also be able to get started on my thesis which, while it scares the bejeesus outta me, I’m looking forward to finally get it finalizes and started. The sooner I start, the sooner it’ll be over. (This time next year hopefully I’ll have a grown-up job!)

In this respect, especially with the requisite bug spray, it was not unlike an equatorial night in Uganda. I’m sad I missed it. We’ll need to have an impromptu redo before you leave for the chilly North.
