This is what I get to hear every Saturday at noon sharp. Oh and this is the short, quiet version. The real thing lasts about 2 minutes and is about 200 times louder than this. The first time I heard it, I thought the end was nigh. I guess they do it because Fort Benning is so close? I don’t know, but I’ve never lived in a town more obsessed with sirens than Columbus.
